Changchunjie Subway Station (地铁长椿街站)

A full guide to this station is being built. The following is a brief summary. We apologise if you cannot locate what you are looking for within this summary.

Changchunjie Subway Station (地铁长椿街站) is on Beijing Subway Line 2. It is situated by the crossing between Changchun Street and Xuanwumen West Street in central Beijing.

Arriving by Subway

Doors will open on the left. This station uses split concourses, so choose your exit before leaving via the exit gates.

Access to and from this station, both to concourse and platform levels, are by stairs only.

The Guohua Shopping Centre is by Exit C, split into Exits C1 and C2.

Remnants of the Ancient City Wall, plus Xibianmen Watch Tower, are closest to Exit D, split into Exits D1 and D2. There is a short walk to these sights.

Changing Lines at This Station

Although Subway Line 19 is expected to pass under this line, with it being an express line, the new line will have its sole connection with Line 2 at Jishuitan. Consequently, it will not have a stop here, so Changchunjie is not an interchange station.

Leaving by Subway

Security checks are required.

If you wish to add value to your Yikatong public transport smartcard, enter from Exits A1, A2, D1, or D2, and head to staffed counters there.

Platform doors are planned for the Line 2 platforms. Always remain behind the yellow line until your train arrives and has come to a complete stop.

Last Line 2 trains: 22:27 for clockwise trains via Fuxingmen (23:16 for trains terminating at Xizhimen); 22:24 for counterclockwise trains via Xuanwumen (23:09 for trains terminating at Jishuitan).

Please note: We suggest that all passengers always enter stations and be inside the entry gates approximately 10 minutes before the arrival of the last train.
