Some Beijing Subway Line 6 Trains to End Earlier at Chegongzhuang West

Beijing Subway Line 6 - Signs

To further relieve stations of pressure due to heavy demand, the Beijing Subway has announced they will be introducing trains that only run through the busier parts of Line 6. This will begin today (01 August 2014) and will be in effect during the evening peak hours (17:00–19:00) on work days.

This means that every third Line 6 train will end early at Chegongzhuang West instead of Haidian Wuluju, which is presently the westernmost terminus. All trains will serve the easternmost terminus, Caofang, as usual.

The Beijing Subway will also be running more Line 6 trains, with a service every 3 minutes. This service frequency shall also last from 17:00 through to 19:00.

Please check the destination of your train and change at Chegongzhuang West if necessary, or simply board the next train.
