L trains (临时旅客列车; Kuaisu Lüke Lieche) in China Railways are fast or accelerated trains, forming the third-fastest train category in the conventional or classic rail system. Sleepers are common on these services, as most do long treks across China, and dining cars are also much more the rule than the exception. K trains run as fast as 120 km/h (75 mph).
The following train numbers are in use:
- K1 – K4998: Long-distance K trains
Please note that trains with numbers between K4001 and K4998 are usually extra services.
