Yonghegong Lama Temple Subway Station (地铁雍和宫站) is on Beijing Subway Line 2 and Line 5. It is situated at Yonghegong Bridge on the northern 2nd Ring Road in central Beijing.

Arriving by Subway

Doors will open on the left. This station uses a mix of split and through or enclosed concourses, so choose your exit before departing via the exit gates.

Escalators leading to ground level are generally available at exits.

MAJOR LANDMARKS NEARBY

Although the entrance to Yonghe Lamasery (Yonghegong Lama Temple) is a few hundred metres (yards) due south of the station, you should be closest from Exits C, E, or G.

Access the hutongs nearby from Exit E.

Changing Lines at This Station

Line 2 to Line 5: Head to the westernmost end of the Line 2 platform, then head downstairs for the Line 5 platforms.

Line 5 to Line 2: For Line 2, follow signage, then head upstairs to enter the Line 2 part of the station. Finally, follow the stairs down to platform level.

Leaving by Subway

Security checks are required.

If you wish to add value to your Yikatong public transport smartcard, either enter from Line 2 Exit C and head to staffed counters there, or go to a ticket hall in the Line 5 part of the station.

Platform doors are planned for the Line 2 platforms. Always remain behind the yellow line until your train arrives and has come to a complete stop.

Last Line 2 trains: 22:03 for clockwise trains via Dongzhimen (22:52 for trains terminating at Xizhimen); 22:49 for counterclockwise trains via Andingmen (23:34 for trains terminating at Jishuitan).

Last Line 5 trains: 23:34 for northbound trains to Tiantongyuan North; 23:14 for southbound trains to Songjiazhuang.

Please note: We suggest that all passengers always enter stations and be inside the entry gates approximately 10 minutes before the arrival of the last train.
