New Timetables on 15 May 2016: More Peak Hour HSR Trains for Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei

Citing People’s Railway Daily, has reported that the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area is to benefit from more frequent train services with the arrival of the new national railway timetables on 15 May 2016.

While most of these new trains will run during peak hours, some will also run at other times. There will be new HSR trains running from Shijiazhuang, Dingzhou East (Dingzhoudong), and Baoding East (Baodingdong) to Beijing West (Beijingxi) Also, new HSR trains will run from Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Cangzhou West (Cangzhouxi), and Dezhou East (Dezhoudong) to Beijing South (Beijingnan).

In addition, new faster regular rail trains will run in a circle from Shijiazhuang, serving the cities of Hengshui, Dezhou, Cangzhou, Tianjin, Chengde, Beijing, and Baoding enroute.

Furthermore, Beijing Rail will introduce new long-distance trains, including overnight sleepers to Guiyang North Guiyangbei, new train services to Ganzhou, new HSR trains from Ji’nan West (Ji’nanxi) to Tianjin West (Tianjinxi), as well as new regular rail trains from Shijizhuang to Nantong, Tongliao, and Mudanjiang, plus new regular rail services from Baoding to Nanjing.
