More Trains on Beijing Subway Line 10 as of 22 July 2015

Beijing Subway Line 10 Loop

There will be more trains running on Line 10 of the Beijing Subway as of 22 July 2015, as minimum waiting times between trains are cut from 2 minutes 15 seconds to 2 minutes 5 seconds. With 92 train sets on the go, all of Line 10 will be able to run 28 (instead of 26) trains per hour.

Furthermore, all trains will be full loop services, although at times, passengers may need to get off trains at Songjiazhuang, Chedaokou, Bagou, or Chengshousi, as some trains are returned to the depots on despatch orders. For them, they will just need to take the next available train to continue their journey.

Line 10 is already the city’s busiest line and the world’s longest loop line. The very busy line is expected to see the realisation of 30 trains per hour, or a minimum interval of 2 minutes per train, before this year is out.
