Jinwen Rail to Add Regular Rail Service to Shanghai South Starting 01 July 2015

Shanghai South Station

A new railway schedule, slated to enter into operation on 01 July 2015, will also mean there will be a new service between Wenzhou and Shanghai South. This will be Train K5802 and will be a partially overnight service, according to Jinwen (Jinhua-Wenzhou) Railway. It runs both ways — to Shanghai in the evening, and back to Wenzhou the next day.

The new service will leave Wenzhou (main station, not Wenzhou South, or Wenzhounan) at 21:05, and arrive at Shanghai South (Shanghainan) Railway Station at 06:45 the next morning. It will also call at these stations enroute:

  • Qingtian 青田
  • Lishui 丽水
  • Jinyun 缙云
  • Yongkang 永康
  • Wuyi 武义
  • Jinhua 金华
  • Yiwu 义乌
  • Zhuji 诸暨
  • Hangzhou 杭州 (change for Hangzhou Metro Line 1 at Chengzhan station)
  • Haining 海宁
  • Jiaxing 嘉兴
  • Jiashan 嘉善
  • Songjiang 松江 (change for Shanghai Metro Line 9 at Zuibaichi Park station)

The return service to Wenzhou departs Shanghai South at 06:45, and arrives back at Wenzhou at 17:56.
