Xuzhou to See New Rail Connections with New Timetable Starting 01 July 2015

The city of Xuzhou, in northern Jiangsu, eastern China, is about to see a huge improvement in railway services as of 01 July 2015.

With the planned opening of the new Hefei-Fuzhou HSR by that time, there will be all-new high speed services to Fuzhou, Xiamen North (Xiamenbei) and Nanchang West (Nanchangxi). Also planned is Train G285, which will extend to Guiyang North (Guiyangbei) station. This train will leave Xuzhou East at 09:50, and arrive at 19:58 at Guiyang North.

Finally, there will also be a new regular train service to Guangzhou East (Guangzhoudong) from the main Xuzhou station in the city centre — Train K677 will leave Xuzhou at 18:23, and arrive at Guangzhou East at 21:06 the next day, passing through Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Guangdong provinces.

In addition, there will also be plenty of services from Xuzhou East to Shanghai, and these trains will terminate at the city station, rather than Hongqiao.
