New Exits Open at Beijing Subway Huoying and Gongzhufen Stations

Residents who live just south of the Beijing-Baotou Railway by Huoying Subway Station (on Lines 8 and 13) no longer need to in essence risk their lives crossing the railway tracks (which is illegal anyway!) — or deal with a long detour (either on foot, by car, or by bus); starting today, 29 April 2015, the new Exit G4 (southeast exit) has opened at Huoying station. Escalator and stair access are both available at this exit, and there is access to both lines.

This passageway opens at 04:37 in the early morning, and closes at 00:15 the next day. The long opening hours should make it easy for anyone living in the vicinity who will be using this.

At the same time, Exit A (the northwest exit) at Gongzhufen Subway Station (on Lines 1 and 10) will also be able to take advantage of the new exit. This new way out has entered into operation since 27 April 2015.
